Digital camera Review: Good for small hardcover books, not meant for textbooks

This cover is only good for small books with hardcovers. If the books is paperback, it is pretty difficult to read with this stand, and it will make you very frustrated. Same goes for thick textbooks (ex. college textbooks). Big books tend to make this stand collapse over, and you will be very frustrated using this for textbooks.
Overall:
Pros: works well with small/medium hardcover books.
Cons: the design of the stand is not meant for big textbooks, and small paperback books.

I see too many negative comments. It's 5 bucks. How powerful of a book stand do you want for 5 bucks? No it doesn't lock. No it doesn't hold 2000 page dictionaries. I have been looking everywhere for a holder for textbooks. I'm a student and I spend many hours hunched over my textbooks, destroying my back in the process. This is small, sturdy and perfect for textbooks. My only problem is that it doesn't accommodate courseware as easily (photocopies of readings bound together) because of the lack of a firm back. Softcover textbooks are no problem, but anything "flimsy" takes a little creativity (ie, putting a clipboard behind it so it stays up). Since that really isn't the use this product was intended for, I don't fault it at all - and at the price? Crazy!
Just need to find a way to ship it to Canada...
