Digital camera reviews of Fellowes Wire Study Stand-Silver (10024)Digital camera Review: Just OK for an Apple iPad stand Summary: 4 Stars
I bought a couple of these for quick cheap iPad stands. I was hoping the arms that come in front of the iPad were more spring loaded and would hold the iPad snuggly. But when adjusted for different angles, the front arms just sit out in front of the iPad. They are not spring loaded at all. This is ok and it still works to hold the iPad upright. So if you need a quick iPad stand that packs flat this could do it. It comes with enough plastic caps to cover each exposed metal rod end.
Digital camera Review: Little foldable book stand fits in bag/backpack Summary: 5 Stars
*PROS: You pay for what you get. The stand is well made for people not expecting to mount a 1 1/2 thick opened book on it.
I'm happy so far, I take it to school, to work, fold it up and throw it in my bag, less than 2cm thick folded flat.Overall I am content with my purchase :)
* CONS: This is not suitable for paperback books since the edges fold downward.
Digital camera Review: NOT FOR BIG BOOKS Summary: 3 Stars
This is a great tool for reading. But I think that its design is not the best, the study stand does not support large books or heavy ones.
Digital camera Review: NOT GOOD!! Summary: 1 Stars
Not good for paperbacks. There is no support in the back so the top half corners of the book fold back. It's also not stable unless your in the middle of the book when the pages distribute the book weight evenly. I would would look elsewhere.
Digital camera Review: Nice Product! Summary: 5 Stars
I like this. It holds books well. It is holding up well and gets the job done. It is more for books you put would put on a table or desk to read. Not for say taking on a bus to read a paperback. The flipklip is great for doing that. This one is more of a "I have to type from a textbook onto my computer" kind of thing. It holds all books but thick volumes like a dictionary. This one is great for holding a cookbook while you are stirring a pot, for learning to type and it holding the book open, for hardbacks that you just don't want to hold with your hands and have it hold it open for you, things like that.
