This pen is everything that I expected. It always writes beautifully, no ink clumps and always very smooth as soon as you start to use it. I know that some people have complained about the size and it being easy to lose, but i actually love the small size. I can put it in my pants pocket and not worry about it being uncomfortable or breaking. The only thing I don't like is that the clip on the top of the pen falls off easily, but that's not a deal breaker as far as I am concerned. I always heard the hype about the Fisher Space Pen so recently I ordered the Bullet in Matte Black. I also ordered a fine point refill as I typically use the finest point pens I can find. After using both the fine point refill and the medium point that came with the pen, I prefer the medium point. I typically used disposable pens with gel ink and after receiving my space pen I am very pleased with the way it writes compared to the gel pens. While not a 100% replacement for my gel pens, I do find myself using this pen more and more as it is always with me and writes well. I especially like the small form factor in my pocket and good sized when the cap is put on the back end for writing. The significant weight of the pen provides a very positive feel when writing. I typically write on a variety of mediums from standard note pads and printer paper, to my various Moleskine notebooks. I was looking for a pen to always have on me, which means something to store in my wallet. I've tried extremely small pens in my wallet before, but they often wouldn't work when I took them out. I don't have a super small wallet to begin with (I have a small change pocket in it where I end up keeping it), so I'm not bothered by a little more thickness. If you are, then this may not work as a wallet pen for you. For me though it's relatively unnoticeable, it always works and is a pretty comfortable size to use. As others have mentioned, the clip kinda sucks and I just took it off so it's just smooth. I haven't tried a lot of other space pens, so it's possible that there's something out there slightly slimmer that works just as well, but for now this is a great way to always have a pen that works available.Digital camera Review: It works.

The clip has slid off of the pen a couple times. I'm afraid I might lose it one of these days.
The ink cartridge is ok. It works, but the writing is not as sharp as I would like.
