I use this on my quad on some tough trails. I expected the plastic to break but it didn't. Strong product however with all the bouncing the mount,with flip camera attached, would rotate. Digital camera Review: Hold that camera!

The Flip Action Mount for Flip Ultra and Mino Camcorders does the job. it was created to strap on the handlebars of a bike or motorcycle, so I thought it would work well on a fishing pole.
In truth there is too much movement involved when you hook a fish, but I found it works well enough. I also tied with wire, not totally trusting velcro to hold over water.
It was so exciting to be able to watch this video and share with friends. The Flip Video Camcorder is just AWESOME! And the Action Mount is a great accessory.

Besides the necessary strap arrangements being confusing the velcro isn't wide enough to provide a good hold. I bought this with the intention of mounting it in my plane but ending up cutting the velcro off and using radiator clamps in their place and it works great. This should also work on bike handlebars or you could use ty-wraps instead. So, it wasn't a complete loss.Digital camera Review: Not too bad, gOOD FOR THE COST

This is a good mount that will even work mounted on a Motocross helmet. My only gripe is that the Velcro could be a little longer and more beefy for ease of use. It is adequate to get the job done but could be better. But, for the price I am more than happy. Digital camera Review: Does what it is supposed to do

To start the mount is a little cumbersome to work with and the instructions not as directive as they could be. Once I was able to mount it it worked fine. I still use it. The application is on my motorcycle handlebar crossbar.
I gave it 4 starts because it does what it's supposed to do and does not slip while riding. It has enough tension so that you can make minor adjustment on the fly.
Good starter system (Flip cam and mount). down the road I'll go with a helmet cam.
