I purchased 3 Ultra 60's, 2 black 1 pink, for our family. The 2 black ones would not down load the video to any of our computers. Sent an email to help desk 3 hours later said return them. So I made a phone call to see if anything eles could be done NO must be returned, "we knew we were having a problem" just send them back. At a cost of $55.51 to ship them back so we could have them for our Christmas trip. NOT HAPPY.Digital camera Review: 5 stars for amazon.com 2 for product

Give it two stars because i assume if you get one in working order it is a cool, functional gadget.All i wanna say is check the product good before time runs out on a return, the first one we received had an internal scratch on the lens causing a black dot to appear in every video, took awhile to figure that one out! :) The second one we got after returning the first had a hairline crack on the housing of the the usb, this is where alot of the weight is placed when plugged into the pc, so we sent it back and gave up for awhile, like i said, i'm sure it is great if you get one that isn't damaged, glad i ordered from Amazon, made a bad situation a little less aggravating.Digital camera Review: A Mommy Must-Have

I am so tickled with the Flip Ultra! It is truly a must-have for any mommy that has ever said, "Oh, I wish I had the video camera right now!" With the Flip, now you can have a high-quality video camera with you everywhere, all the time. It's small and light enough to go in your purse; I even carry it in my pocket when we go out so that I can whip it out at a moment's notice. It's also stylish, very easy to use, and the picture quality is outstanding. You will be so happy you have this!
Battery note: I always find it helpful when reviewers share their battery life experience, so here's mine. So far I have only used regular AA batteries, not rechargeable. A pair of Energizers lasted about an hour and 15 minutes - more than enough to fill the 60 minutes worth of memory before having to get fresh ones.

The more I use this camera the harder it becomes to put it down! Its purse friendly size makes it easy to take everywhere and leaves you never having to recapture an experaince with words alone. The first real event I took it to was a baby shower and all the moms went crazy over it. They thought it would be absolutely perfect for capturing all the milestones as well as funny moments in their children's lives because its small sizes makes it easy to tuck into a pocket and keep with you at all times which is necessary if you really are going to capture everything! The women had endless stories of things they wish they had on tape, but missed by the time they were able to run and grab their standard camera. Also it's incredibly easy to use which is a huge plus. While this would make the perfect gift for anyone, it is especially great for anyone with children. The only down side I have found to this camera is that depending on where the usb port is on the computer I am using it is not always convenient to connect, but I feel like that is a fairly minor flaw given how wonderful this camera is in general.Digital camera Review: A Really Sweet Product

This item is well designed, well made and does the job I need it to do.
I bought this recorder to digitize some very old 8mm family movies and I started the project last night with very satisfactory results.
I projected the movie and recorded it from the screen..flipped out the USB connection and plugged it into the computer, simply dragged the file to my hard drive and it was a done deal!! No special software needed.
I am impressed with the quality of this product for the unbelievable price!
