Worked fine for a few weeks. But tonight, it froze in the middle of recording a once-in-a-lifetime event. It just stopped recording after 23 minutes, and froze. The red light was on, but the display was frozen. I couldn't turn it off, or stop it, or do anything. I had to remove the battery to reset it, and lost the 23 minutes recorded in the process. This thing is a toy. Don't think it's anything more. Avoid this piece of crap.Digital camera Review: Awesome

I bought this as a gift for my wife to take quick home videos of our son as he's started walking and doing other new things. She can quickly grab the camera, shoot video and upload the video to Facebook or our blog. She's not incredibly tech-savvy, but has had no trouble doing anything she wants with the camcorder.Digital camera Review: Awesome and so easy to use

When I first saw the flip, I was skeptical about the price at first and the few negative comments on the reviews....and although Im partially worried about the stability of the USB connector (being as though I have a desktop) I think its GREAT otherwise. It takes excellent videos ([...]) and its very user friendly! I have a three year old son so I really wanted a camera to take videos for christmas and this defanitely gets the job done. Plus I love the carrying case and the fact that it comes with rechargables and doesnt require the charger (because it charges itself on the computer and I have a charger anyways). We hooked ours up to our PS3 to watch the videos and it works great!!! I defanitely recommend this product!!! :)
