I ordered this product just before going to a friends wedding. Our other video recorders need extensive preparation before use - charging batteries, making sure backup batteries are ready - and they take up much space. This product fit nicely in my jacket pocket and my wife - the family videographer - loved it when I handed it to her just before the wedding started. She recorded the entire ceremony and much of the reception and we were pleased both with the ease of use and the quality of the recording.Digital camera Review: Easy to use, fun to have!

This was purchased for my 10 year old who is a director in the making. All of the group of friends have them and they have made several little movies. It is a "take it out of the box and shoot" type of thing. I would recommend it for someone who doesn't want to pay a whole lot but just wants to have fun. I'm impressed! The video from this little camera is very good quality for the money. I have posted three videos on YouTube (TomBK3) that were made with it. I just plugged the Flip Video camera into the USB on the side of my Mac G4 iBook, dragged and dropped the video files from the camera's memory into iMovie, did some editing and saved the results in QuickTime. It's easy, works well and is convenient to carry in a pocket. I may use it more often than the HD camcorder I just bought, although the HD (obviously) has a much better picture, more features, etc.Digital camera Review: Easy, fun, practical

OK how many people have video cameras that sit around, never get used becuase of batteries, tape, lugging it around etc, etc. Then IF they take videos they never watch them becuase it's too much trouble. Enter the flip. If you love your digital camera then you'll love this. I took my first video WITHOUT removing it from the package! That's how easy it is. It uses standard AA batteries and I've plugged it into 3 computers to play or download videos without any problems. All the software is contained on the device so there's no CD to install. I have the 1 hour model which is all anyone really wants to ever see of one event anyway. This will do for video what the digital camera did for photos.Digital camera Review: Eh, its ok

Its better than a picture camera considering the people i hang out with. I just want video and sound and this product produces just that :D
But the arm doesn't fit on my laptop unless its hanging of the edge of a surface. I didn'te really get into it as of late because i'm so busy, but so far so good.
Its not the extreme professional quality that your looking for, but if you just want to capture hilarious moments with a very easily handled device, this is the video cam to do it with :D
Go ahead and get the 60min, the 30min is probably useless.
