I bought this mini tripod and could not complain. I don't see why so many people complain about the size, it's obvious how small it is, if you open your eyes and read the info. This is very sturdy with the Mino but don't see it working too well with the Ultra since the tripod jack is off to the side(design flaw)actually almost the very bottom corner.Digital camera Review: Don't use with Flip

I recently bought a Flip Ultra HD which is nice except for the lack of image stabilization. So I figured a small tripod was in order. The problem with this product is that it is too flimsy to work with the Flip Video unit. The Flip makes this tripod much to top heavy which makes it topple over with even the slightest of vertical adjustments. Luckily it works fine for a small Sony cybershot that I have had for some time. If you are looking for a mini-tripod for any Flip Video recorder, I highly suggest you find one that is slightly larger and heavier to stabilize the Flip unit.Digital camera Review: Don't waste your money!

I don't like to write negative reviews unless I feel strongly, but this tripod is not worth the money at all. I bought it for a class where we have to tape conversations a few feet away, so I thought it would be perfect, but first, the mount on the flip is off to the side, so it leans to one side and while you can account for that with the legs of the tripod, the legs on this tripod are barely flexible and the black paint comes off on your hands and flakes all over the tabletop that it is sitting on.
I tried to return it, but it was going to cost 5 dollars to return it and it was too much of a hassle. I'm disappointed in this product and in amazon. Don't waste your money, buy a better tripod for less money elsewhere.

This is a very simple tripod for your small camcorder or camera. I use it with my mino HD series camcorder and it works great especially for off-level surfaces.
This will not be your only tripod because it is so small but it definetly has its uses.

It is simple to use, though it can take a minute to square the camera up through the view finder. Does exactly what it is supposed to do though; holds a camera on a desktop.
