The first time I took the camera case out in the ocean, it leaked and ruined my camera. It took two months for customer service to get back to me once I sent my camera and case in. The only thing that I'd' like to ask is- "How do I get my money back????" We were so excited to think that we'd get some great underwater video while we were snorkeling in the Caribbean. Our Flip Video was in it's brand new waterproof case. We took it out into the water and within seconds the case was full of saltwater. Needless to say, it was a complete waste of money. I would not haven given it any stars in the rating, but there is no way to do that, hence, the undeserved "one star" rating.Digital camera Review: Editorial advice.

I recently used a Flip video with an Aquapac underwater housing in the Sea of Cortez and it worked well though it was a little hard to get to the power switch. I found when editing the video that to compensate for my moving the camera around too much that if I used the "half speed" effect on Windows Movie Maker it made the video much less sickening to watch. This is a very good waterproof enclosure for the Flip Ultra Video camera. Very easy to use and works well in any water environment. My kids have taken this to the water park to video the water slides as they went down. Worked perfect all day. Button extensions are almost better than the buttons on the camera and I have NO issues using them.Digital camera Review: Excellent product

As a divemaster, I am well acquainted with underwater cameras and maintaining integrity of the camera components. Unfortunately, out of deep water, I'm not so smart. On a recent trip I put my flip in the pocket of a wet bathing suit (in a neoprene case). It took two days to dry out before it would operate again. I went online and ordered the underwater case, even after reading the reviews about all the leaks. I checked the seals and the operation, crossed fingers and dove into the pool. No problem, no leaks, and the video is relatively distortion free, but, as expected, the sound is somewhat muffled. Strangely enough the buttons on the flip work far easier in the case than out of the case. I will probably keep it in the case most of the time for that reason. So far, so good.
