The Fuji Finepix J10 is a decent camera. It's not the best nor the worst but I am satisfied enough. It's not worth top dollar but if you can find a used one like I did for [...] bucks and in mint condition, then you got a great deal! I love the tiny size and the quick start up. Video quality is not good but..it's not a camcorder.
I got lucky finding my J10 for the 40 dollar price and getting it looking brand spanking new! I thought for sure I was going to get one that was beat up OR mistreated. I decided that I don't want to buy new point and shoot cameras any more. I get disapointed with point and shoots and wind up spending top dollar for brand new and for nothing. Waste of money buying new unless it's a DSLR!
Picture quality is average or decent and I am satisfied with that. The functions are easy and it's so nice and small anyone would love it. It's a clean looking camera..nice and simple and fun.
Find one at a refurbished price or a good used one and you will be happier with yourself! I think most folks will like this one. I have enjoyed it so far and I've only had it for two days.
REMEMBER...DO NOT BUY POINT AND SHOOT CAMERAS BRAND NEW! FIND BETTER DEALS WITH REFURBISHED OR GOOD USED ONES!

Fuji film 8mp J-10 camera. I had trouble choosing this camera over a samsung 860. But I got a J-10 for a good price. Along with that , I already had some XD cards from my not working so good fuji A350. So at least I didn't need to buy SD cards. This zoom is alittle jittery over the samsung 860, but not by much. So I try not to use zoom if I can help it.
It takes great out-door pictues, but not as good INDOORS or longer distance indoors. I was never sure if it looked better with or without flash and somtimes get blurry without flash due to it probalby holding the shutter open longer without flash. All depends on distance and lighting indoors. I was getting used to using my wifes camera,, a sony cybershot DSCH-10 which took much better pics indoors. But it is a double the cost camera. I like that it also takes regular SD or XD cards, but manual says the video may be jumpy on the SD cards depending?? The olympus version of this says it takes Micro SD, not the full size sd,and you would need that stupid adapter thing, but don't quote me on that. I also was looking for a cam that took AA batteries due to availability, but once you get a few ion battery packs, you should be set. Batt life was acceptable, but factory batteries are $$$. I got a couple maximal power's off ebay cheap, and they seem to be ok, though may not last as long as original. Im very leary on no name batteries, but for $7-$14 for Two,, I can't complain. I wish it had a 5mp setting. It looks like it goes from 4mp to 8 and 8.2. Over-all, im happy with the camera for a lower cost or backup/ something small camera.

I just received mine today. So far it's doing an outstanding job. Better than I expected actually. I noticed after taking pictures I try zooming in to see the details on an object and to my surprised..very detailed. Well worth the money. BUY IT. I got this camera to get shots of my 7 month old. I was concerned about getting non-blurry shots since children move suddenly. I've gotten great pictures of him. We went to a parade and there was no blurring of the moving people or floats. We even went to a Medeivel fair and had only slight blurring of joisting. Not bad for two horses moving quickly in opposite directions. The video function was handy. I was able to capture my son's first steps even though I didn't have my video recorder with me because of this function, it even captured the sound. The battery lasts quite well on a single charge and the camera is fairly intuitive in how it functions, I didn't have to read the manual to figure it out. Small enough that I can alway have it with me. Resolution is great, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, it does what I wanted it to do.
