Digital camera Review: Great camera, broke, company won't fix under warranty

I ordered this camera recently and found it to be a wonderful camera. Then the LCD looked like it had a crack in it even though we don't recall it EVER being dropped. Fuji says they won't fix it under warranty. They should have stood behind their product a little better rather than charging me $61 to fix the darn thing.Digital camera Review: Great camera....poor shipping

The camera is wonderful! It came out exactly as it looks on the website. I ordered it for my 11 year old daughter as a Christmas present and she loves it. She finds it very easy to use.
My problem is with the shipping. I ordered it as a Christmas present after reading all the wonderful reviews regarding their shipping. It took the FULL 10 days to arrive at my house. It did not make it in time for Christmas. Then when it did arrive, the box was soaking wet all the way through!!! It seemed as though someone dropped it in the ocean and then delievered it to my door. Everything in the box was soaked! Luckily the important things were wrapped in plastic bags.
With that said, I recommend the camera but allow plenty of time for delievery.

Absolutely unbelievable! This camera is great. I have had some bad experiences with Nikons in the past and for my first Fujifilm I was supremely impressed. The shots are enormous and can be really crisp and clear. It's not as fancy but there are lots of settings and helpful features that get the job done right.
Be careful to set the camera to the proper camera mode before going into a situation such as a wedding or graduation. I missed my brother getting his diploma because I had to change the setting last minute (But we have it on film camera and video camera)

Great camera for the money. I have no problems with the features or performance. My only complaint is that the battery life isn't as long as I'd like it to be. Twice I've taken it to parties just to see the battery die within 3 hours or so. I wish this was the kind of camera that operated on AAA batteries or other easily/cheaply replaceable batteries that I could carry as spares. But other than that, I'm happy with the product. The viewscreen is smaller than some other similar cameras, but the camera itself is pretty tiny too. Even in its case it won't take up too much room in your pocket, which is good.

This camera packs a lot in a tiny package. The images are crisp and clear, it's quick and easy to learn the functions (takes 10 minutes or less), and it's as small and lighter than my cell phone. Great for a second camera too.
