Digital camera reviews of Fujifilm Finepix S700 7.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical ZoomDigital camera Review: 5 STARS FOR ZOOM PICS, 4 STARS FOR THE TIME IT TAKES TO LEARN Summary: 5 Stars
this camera is the first camera i bought after doing extensive research on casio exz-750 and alot of others , i choose this one for the clear user submitted pics ive seen compared to all the other user submitted pics on the casio as well as the others . i took 2 pics of my own and added it to the user submitted pics , check them out :) this camera has alot to offer , and it was only a little over 200.00 dollars !! i havent used the video yet , but when i do ill be back for another review :) the only draw back for me is the learning curve of how to use it. what modes to use with what pics ! ive had my moments of wanting to throw it up against the wall for frustration of not figuring out the camera but i found with applyed patience ive learned how to take good pics with a few of the camera scene selections . everyday im learning more.i seriuosly think i can win some photo contests with this camera, be sure to check out my pics i took in the user submitted gallery , copyrighted of course ( the gray cat looking up at the moth on the chain(cat i mean moth has got my tongue !!lol check it out ! . but if you find that yo utake a picture and its not perfect ,have no fear photoshop is always near , to make it better . which i havent had to use yet. you should buy a camera card for this camera sinse it only holds a few pictures . that dont bother me none , it just gives me more reason to snap away at anything my heart dessires .AAA+ i love this cameras zoom pics
Digital camera Review: A Superb Product and a Great Buy! Summary: 5 Stars
When I saw the price and features of this camera, I ran-did-not-walk. Even so, I was skeptical until it arrived; then, it delivered on all its promises, including the raves of most of the reviewers. This has all the versatility of much more expensive SLR's and lacks only interchangable lenses. Know what? My last film SLR had a zoom lens on it an I never used any of the other fixed focal length lenses that I had. So, no loss there. To the reviewer who was bummed out: check all the adjustments again; it took me a little while to get the hang of some of it, too. This camera has a few differences in setup from my previous ones.
Digital camera Review: A good camera for the price Summary: 5 Stars
I think this camera is the best for the price. I have a 35mm SLR and this camera is as easy to operate and the pictures are very good. There is no need to change lenses for telephoto or wide angle. The view finder is big enough to see the scene and the through the lens view finder is very good. Would I recomend it, you bet I would.
Digital camera Review: A great learning experience! Summary: 4 Stars
A great little camera, with only a few faults.
Pros: Its a great learning tool for beginners who don't want to sink money into a DSLR just yet, but are above compact camera. Color pictures come out beautifuly in the right light
Cons: Black and white mode is much to gray, the flash is to intense, A lot of pictures come out blurry, and portrait mode doesn't really do anything.
All in all, it was a great learning experience camera, but my photography career is moving much to fast for this camera to keep up. I would recommend this camera to any amateur who can't quite afford a DSLR yet.
Digital camera Review: A marvel in form and function! Summary: 5 Stars
I will Second the review that calls for TEN STARS for this wonderful camera! I first discovered this camera on display in a Electronics Dept. of a major retailer and I explored its features. I was very impressed with what I thought was a lot of potential! The overwhelming majority of reviews here were Five Stars. And with good reason! This camera is a wonder! The focus is fantabulous, the resolution is dazzling, and the exposures are borderline magical. The 10X optical zoom is sharp and clear, and the extra 4.8X digital zoom is startlingly very good! I have had my mind blown repeatedly by the wonderful lighting that this camera so beautifully captures. I should also mention that, unlike other digital cameras, the Fuji FinePix S700 does not inhale or drain its 4 AA batteries after a few shots. I have taken multiple dozens of photos with and w/o a flash, and it is still going strong! Now, I don't mean to be mean, but I can't help but think the negative critics of this dream machine (a negligible minority) either have not read the manual, they did not understand what they read, or they don't know what a camera like this one is capable of. This camera marvellously responds to its programming and design.
If you buy a BMW because you want a high performance vehicle. you will have one. But if you try to take a high-speed turn on wet pavement, and you skid through the guard rail and plunge into a deep ravine, don't blame the car: learn how to drive, first! Learn how a car, high performance or otherwise, was made to respond in and to its environment, and under all circumstances.
This camera was designed and built with a photographer in mind: A photographer who values and knows how to use a responsive and beautifully designed camera that is in its element where fine photography is concerned. Don't allow the whiners to deny you the chance to experience this camera! Buy it! You won't be sorry!
