I am a type of person who looks for features and quality both at cheaper rates and this camera perfectly suits my need.
Pros:
Battery life is awesome-it went for 4 days without recharging
10x optical zoom is amazing...shart clear pictures at 10x zoom
It has got all professional functions
cons:
it has got a rubber grip on the left side which makes its looks cheaper..
night mode pics are not as good as they are expected
but overall an awesome camera at awesome price..

This is my third Fuji digital camera. I was very tempted to go the Canon route this time until I found the s700 at a great price. I have only had it one day and am totally pleased. I am pretty much just using it for point and shoot with the kids, but it takes really good pics. I also wanted some zoom after having teh odler model Fuji's I was ready to get in close and this one did the trick fo rthat too. I have owned a 3.2 megapixel Sony Cybershot for years and was happy with my still photos until my son joined football. I was looking for a camera that didn't have the "digital lag" in the shutter and that could shoot my boy from across a football field. This camera is all I hoped for and more. My action shots are clear and bright from the stands at the 50 yard line into the end zone and beyond. The camera is lightweight so it is not a bother to carry, it is easy to use and the results are amazing. Video mode is great too- I no longer need a video camera. For this price this camera is tops! Light weight, easy to use, great pictures. Love the zoom. Love the picture quality. I got this as a replacement for an older Canon model. Very satisfied with the camera and Amazon's great customer service for walking me through the SD card promotion.
