Digital camera Review: How to adjust your newer models

After reading several reviews over again that were critical of the product, I was almost regretful that I purchased this even shortly after checking it out once it arrived. I have to say the negative reviews about the case being too tight, which in turn warps the placement of opening for the headphone jack, usb connector and sdcard, not to mention the warped fit in the center of the screen, is a definite functional problem and aesthetic nightmare. Fortunately, this product is made of leather. It suddenly dawned to me that a looser fit would solve this issue, and thankfully, I was right. I accomplished this by stretching the leather for a few minutes. Now I'm not recommending that you try to pull or tear the case by any means. Simply slide in a credit card first then the creative zen to make for a slightly tighter fit. Add additional cards if needed until you get the desired tightness and let it sit for a few minutes. It'll loosen out the leather saving you the trouble of returning it or being terribly disappointed. This worked for me, do it at your own risk. Pros:
1) Attractive case
2) Great low price!
3) Clips firmly to belt...or to your waistband if you aren't wearing a belt.
4) Protects your player
Cons:
1) Player is positioned vertically, controls at the bottom. Hard to use.
2) Hard to open case rapidly to use controls. Must unsnap the fastener, which is on the underside of the case, against your body.
3) Causes me accidentally to hit controls and lose my place in my audiobooks.

I bought this little jewel of a leather case for my Zen and now, there it sits, like a handsome little leather wallet, but thicker. But Zen says "Zen is now safe". That makes me happy. Yes it's very sturdy (a verrrry tight fit) but well put together. As to longevity, who knows. I've only had it for a couple of weeks. We'll see. Ask me in a year how it's holding up.
As an aside, but speaking of leather, I needed a new wallet a few years ago and decided to spend more than my traditional $7.50 for a lookalike. After going through one of those every 3 or 4 (I'm using it constantly every day to show I.D.). So I decided to splurge and buy quality leather. That was two years ago and haven't regretted it.
