This case really protect my mp3 zen perfect, and easy to use. Great looking and fit easy on to the zen.
Digital camera Review: Serves its purpose Summary: 4 Stars
I recently purchased this and its a good case..My only two small complaints is that there should be something on the inside of the case that covers the screen (a clear piece of plastic..for instance)And secondly that it is difficult to open this case when you are wearing it on your belt because the button/ latch is located on the back of the case close to the bottom.I end up having to unclip it from my belt in order to open it when needed.Besides that i am happy with my purchase.
Digital camera Review: Should have purchased this sooner! Summary: 4 Stars
Item shipped on time, and was exactly as described. The buttons and headphone jack are still readily accessible. Very pleased with this purchase.
Digital camera Review: Snug as a bug Summary: 3 Stars
Fits okay with the Creative Zen. it doesnt line up exactly with the buttons and it seems too tight at first. but it does cover and protect the mp3 player
Digital camera Review: Stay away from this product Summary: 1 Stars
For the first time after years buying products from Amazon I'm forced to give a negative review.
I bought this product back in 2008 and it was excellent, good craftmanship, great appearance, the player fitted perfectly, all and all a satisfying product.
Then by the end of 2009 I bought three more cases for my wife and kids based on my previous experience. To my disappointment the cases I received were awful, the players fitted too tight, the opening for the screen covered part of the top of it while needlessly revealed the creative logo at the bottom, all the features (USB port, headphone jack, SD card slot) are partialy blocked rendering the case unusable.
The appearance of the cases was so undesirable that I decided to try to obtain replacements in the hope that I'd get three cases like the one depicted here, as good as the one I had before.
I took pictures of the cases and sent them to Eforcity's customer service dept. along with an explanation of the problems I saw with the cases.
To my surprise they answered stating that the cases were not compatible with my players since they wetre ZEN MXs instead of ZEN even though I send them the pictures of a ZEN MX on my old case. (A perfect fit) However I contacted Creative Labs' Sales Dept. Ass well as the support forum at Creative and I found out that (Officially) the ZEN and the ZEN MX are exactly the same size and shape. (Which I knew as a fact since I owned both players)
The findings were not enough for Eforcity, then the ping-pong game started, to make the story short I felt like first I was trying to talk to an answering machine, and second I was treated like an absolute oximoron. (I have all the emails to prove it)
Then I stopped writing and sent the cases back making clear that I wanted them replaced, not refunded.
After quite a long period of time I received my 3 new cases, as worthless as the first 3!!!
This is what you'll have if you buy this:
-The case is to tight for the ZEN or the MX. (Notice I've try them on both players as well as my old case)
-The opening for the screen is centered on the case, while the screen is not centered on the player.
-All the features of the player are partially blocked by the case.
-I had to force the flaps of all 6 in order to close them.
-Been so tight the borders of the screen window pull away making it look awful.
-The customer service experience is a nightmare.
I posted pictures for comparison, I hope Amazon keeps them up so this can help other possible buyers. There are other alternatives, not as cheap in price but of course not as cheap as a product.
