Digital camera reviews of GARMIN Zumo 450 3.5-Inch Portable GPS NavigatorDigital camera Review: GWRider Summary: 5 Stars
Right out of the box it runs. Mounting on the '04 GoldWing is easy when you find out that the connections are already there. The mount did not fit as nicely as did the previous mount I had for an older GPS. I had to buy an extension for the audio cable, but that was plug and play, too. Works just like the one I had in the car. The database is good, but there are street errors, of course, like the same (I assume)database in the car. But it goes on "recalculating" til we have it right. I have not tried updating it with the internet yet.GARMIN Zumo 450 3.5-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Digital camera Review: Garmin 450 zumo Summary: 5 Stars
After researching GPS units for motorcycles, I concluded the Garmin 450 zumo was the best product for the price. Selecting this unit (it doesn't come with Bluetooth connectivity which I wasn't interested in) was a great choice! It mounted easily on my motorcycle, is easy to use, is waterproof for rainy days, and comes with periodic map updates. The user guide is user friendly and covers everything about the unit. Since it's portable, I purchased the car kit and use the unit in my car as well. The Garmin 450 gets me where I need to go every time .. whether on my bike or in the car. Go Garmin!

I have no problems with my Zumo 450. It is a little difficult to put addresses in, because it won't let you enter the entire address. That is a minor problem, and I have been able invariably to overcome it.
Great idea for a motorcycle rider. I wish, however, that they made a BMW compatible handlebar mount. The mount that comes with mounts it on my R1200RT center of the handlebars. I'd perfer it use the same mount as the gazillion dollar BMW GPS setup. Can't have everything, I guess. I use it in both my car and on my bike. It's not perfect (no sound in the car) but it works as it is supposed to and helps with navigation.

I love this GPS unit. It is the first one I have owned and I am most impressed with how easy Garmin made everything about it.
I installed it on my bike in 20 minutes using only the tools included in my bikes tool kit. After that it was guiding me to my destination, never having read the manual.
You can use it without having to take your gloves off while riding if you need to find fuel, food, etc. (Although, for safety and liability reasons, the manual recommends you don't.) I haven't had a problem with it in the rain and the screen is easily viewed even in bright sunlight.
The included RAM mount holds it securely and can even be locked for those time you want to walk away from your bike and not completely disassemble it.
It is easy to navigate and find points of interest. The included software is out of date but the update is available for free by logging onto the Garmin website.
I would recommend the 450 to all my biker friends.

Excellent unit which is very intuitive to operate. My only suggestion would be a modification of power cord (place the fuse near unit) which would facilitate cutting to exact length needed.
