We needed a new cordless phone with enhanced hearing capability and it seems OK for that purpose. But here's the hitch -- when an incoming call rings it lights up and warbles all over the place but at a very low level of sound!!!!! This for a phone we got to hear better!!!! This phone is great! Its not just for hearing/ sight impared people. I am 28 and really like the phone. Its very clear and easily fits on your shoulder so you have use of both hands!!! The only slight disadvantage is that I think the orange display screen could be clearer..the numbers that come up are a little small and harder to read because of the color of the screen.Digital camera Review: Replacement battery pack

Guess what? No one has a replacement battery pack for this model! In less then a year, the battery is running out as my phone is blinking and beeping and screeching...and after hours online at various places and on the phone....have come to the realization that there is no replacement batteries available. The GE - Lifestyles Big Button Cordless phone is working well. My spouse needs the big buttons because of sight issues...and they are great. The battery life was a week off the charger the first week; now has reduced to four days.
