I purchased this phone for my parents for the holidays. They had asked for a cordless large button phone.
The reported back to me that the phone was on the heavy side and in fact much heavier then the other cordless phones they had.
Also, they informed me that the buttons were not that large.
They are keeping the phone but are not happy with the weight.

This phone is great! Its not just for hearing/ sight impared people. I am 28 and really like the phone. Its very clear and easily fits on your shoulder so you have use of both hands!!! The only slight disadvantage is that I think the orange display screen could be clearer..the numbers that come up are a little small and harder to read because of the color of the screen.Digital camera Review: Great Phone

The GE - Lifestyles Big Button Cordless phone is working well. My spouse needs the big buttons because of sight issues...and they are great. The battery life was a week off the charger the first week; now has reduced to four days.
