Digital camera Review: A low price doesn't make up for poor performance

Purchased for $29.99 at the outlet store, and now I know why they're selling them off! The CD drawer on the first one did not open. On the second one, the CD made a fairly loud mechanical tap-tap-tap sound as the CD turned. Not to be bested - - I took a CD with me back to the store to test out the third one before buying it. The mechanical sound was still there, but not nearly as loud as before, and barely tolerable. Since I am buying this for a second home (read "keep it cheap"), I took the third one. As evidenced from the other reviews, this unit has obvious quality issues. I would not reccomend buying one, and would advise you to NEVER purchase this model online: You need to be able to exchange it a few times to get one to work.
