This works well for the price but the very bright blue lights are beyond annoying. I have this in my bedroom and have to unplug it at night or it lights up the entire room. Wish there was a way to remove the lights. Thinking of trying to smash them.Digital camera Review: Worth the purchase

This docking system works wonderfully for the sake of room to room mobility. I did find a similar docking station which included a clock radio at a discount store for the same price. However, once the clock/alarm is set, you don't want to move it around the house because you have to keep re-setting the clock. The only drawback to this dock is your iPod, Nano, etc. will not charge well with a skin or other protective covering.Digital camera Review: a comment

I got this for Christmas and it's in my bedroom. Sound quality is good enough for the bedroom so if you're looking for a device for the house, this is not it.
The remote is slim and handy. It even turns the iPod off (ok, not off it's still charging). It's clean, small and a nice present:)

I read about the issues in prior reviews before buying this product, but since I was simply looking for something to play music on at a very low volume at my desk at work, I wasn't concerned with the sound quality. The unit worked fine for a few months, but as many other reviewers noted I suddenly lost all volume control, and now it will only play on maximum volume, which makes it completely worthless. Its out of the 90 day warranty so I now have to toss it and buy something new. The product is inexpensive, but not worth it if you have to buy a new one every 90 days.
