Summary of GTC NP-1 NOISE PLUG
The Noise Plug is a complete precision pink noise generator built in a standard XLR microphone connector. Inside the Noise Plug is an ultra wideband, avalanche junction white noise source. The output is then frequency limited, amplified and passed through a precision -3dB per octave low pass filter, resulting in a full audio spectrum noise source with equal energy distribution in all octaves. Can be used to check audio system operation, adjust crossover points and balance, check frequency response of amplifiers, tape decks, etc. and adjust system equalization. Operates on 48VDC phantom power, so external power is not required.Testers Tools
