It works just fine but the cord is a little short (4.5ft). It depends on where you like to put your GPS and where your outlet is. It's enough for me and certainly better than no plug at all. I'm glad replacements are made. :)Digital camera Review: Garmin Adapter Cable response to request

wow... I was surprised and the low cost for a GARMIN adapter cable. Even more surprising was the fast turn around in receiving the cable.
