Digital camera reviews of Garmin 4.3-Inch Carrying CaseDigital camera Review: A basic case Summary: 4 Stars
Our nuvi 260W did not come with a case, and this was the one that was recommended as the case that fit the 260W on the Garmin web site.
It works for its purpose, which is to provide some basic protection for the GPS when it's not mounted in a vehicle. It doesn't have a belt clip, it doesn't have a zipper, it doesn't make julienne fries. It's not a fashion accessory that will impress your friends.
It's a simple slide-on case that holds our GPS securely and keeps the screen from being scratched when it's not in use. It's of the quality and utility that one would expect from a case that would be included with the GPS, but for whatever reason, Garmin decides not to do so.
For the price, it does what it's supposed to do. I've been using ours casually for almost two months, and have not had any problem with the case stretching to the point where the GPS can slip out. There are other cases that provide other features, so options are available if you're looking for some other utility.
This is a basic case that does what it's supposed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Exactly what it should be.
Digital camera Review: A bit small for nuvi500 Summary: 3 Stars
Ordered for my Garmin nuvi500. Perhaps over time it'll loosen up a bit, but it is a very, very tight fit. Have a bugger of a time getting the GPS out after I put it in. Overall, concept is sound and should protect the unit as I expect it to.
Digital camera Review: A fine case Summary: 5 Stars
This case is exactly what I thought it would be. I basically use it as a scratch protector. It's not cushioned, so don't expect to be able to drop your Nuvi and be protected from breaking. It's a snug case and as one reviewer noted, it may turn on your unit as you slide it in or out. Not a big deal for me, but be careful and observant. Anytime my Nuvi isn't in use, it's in this case. Good case for the price (it was around $10 when I bought it, but honestly, I'd pay $15 for it - any price higher than that and I'd expect cushioning).
Digital camera Review: A good case, wish it would be part of the navigator package Summary: 4 Stars
It's a good quality case, but expected it to be part of the navigator package. I'd recommend this case as it has hard walls to protect the touch screen.
Digital camera Review: A good one Summary: 4 Stars
Now this is one snugly fitting carrying case. I bought it for my 265T.
It protects the GPS very well but is a little clumsy to handle.
Pros are-
Protects the screen from scratches
It fits nicely, accidentally drop the case and the GPS is protected.
The feel and finish is fairly good.
Cons-
One side open....could use a zipper or something
There's no clip or strap to carry it(u have to put it in your pocket or bag)
