Digital camera Review: Lost GPS with this terrible cover
Summary: 1 Stars

Clipped the GPS to my webbing using the clip/screw (with loctite), and the screw backed out-- lost GPS. Anything that is not a pouch with permanent straps to put on a belt is going to loose your GPS.

This thing is a terrible piece of engineering, but Garmin probably likes it because they loose and sell more units this way.

Do yourself a favor-- do NOT use this case. You will loose you GPS.

Digital camera Review: Must Have
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this carry case for the Garmin 60 Cx, it is a "must have" item if you plan to do anything with your handheld GPS OTHER than mounting it to the dashboard of your vehicle. I carry my GPS in my coat pocket, so the screen would eventually get scratched up without this carry case. The only complaint that I have with this carry case is the fact that you can NOT hook your GPS unit up to your PC via the USB port without first removing the carry case. This is only a MINOR default!! The $20.00 investment is much cheaper than a new GPS when your screen gets scratched up so badly that you can no longer pick-up the fine details on the screen.

Digital camera Review: My GPSMAP 60CSX
Summary: 5 Stars

I recieved my gps as I requested and everything worked fine. I wish the owners manual was a little more than it is but I can get around. It is everything Garmin says it is. Amazon had a very good price. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Digital camera Review: Neat, but not thought-through
Summary: 3 Stars

This is Garmin's own case for the GPS Map 60 series, and it looks OK and serves to protect the GPS pretty well, but functionally, Garmin has missed the boat, I think.
The case is great if you don't ever take your GPS out, if you don't need to up- or down-load waypoints, maps, etc., if you don't have to change batteries, if you don't use an external power source, and if you don't want to use the keypad. I guess that makes, umm, very little of the time.
I find the clear protective plastic on the front of the case too thick to allow proper use of the keypad. And it has a negative effect on visibility.
The case needs to be removed (which means fiddling it over the peg used for the belt-clip and threading or un-threading the wrist strap) to use an external power source, to up- or down-load data, to connect an external antenna, or to change the batteries. And the little velcro strap at the bottom tends to get caught on something along the way...
The case is well constructed, though, of high-quality materials, and provides very good shock protection (except at the bottom, where the corners of the GPS stick out a bit - and Murphy's Law would have it that this is usually where the GPS lands, when it does fall... Too bad, actually, cuz it looks pretty good and fits the device well...

Digital camera Review: Neoprene case for Garmin 60CSx
Summary: 2 Stars

Not worth buying. The stitching began to come out almost immediately, and after a week it was unraveling in two places. The case makes any non-trivial button use (especially with the rocker) a nuisance.
