Thia has been a great GPS tracking device. I hiked to the summit of South Sister in the Oregon Cascades and never loss signal. I talked to a couple of guys who had hand held devices and they lost signal in the tree heading to the mountain.
Also, I run and mountain bike every week, this has been great for tracking my time and pace.

I love the Forerunner 205. It's all I need in a GPS Watch. The only functions it didn't have compared to my Forerunner 301 was the heart rate monitor. I had a lot of issues with the heart rate monitor and was only able to use it a handful of times. This watch is perfect! I highly recommend it.Digital camera Review: Awesome!!

I have now had my Garmin Forerunner 205 for 4 months and I love it! You can set it to signal at time intervals or distance intervals. You can also set it to keep you in you own personal pace limits; it you drop below or go above the pace period it will sound an alarm for you.
I really enjoy the calendar that shows how my month of running worked out with weekly details at the end of each week. The website is so cool!
I like looking at the arial pictures of the route I took; especially with out of town races.
I dare to say that having my Garmin is almost as important as having my running shoes!!
What is progress if it can't be measured?
Garmin does that!

This thing works great. I am a military soldier and have to run. I have always struggled with my run times for physical fitness test. Now I have a virtual partner that keeps me on pace and helps to inprove my times by keeping track of my laps, mileage, and splits. Get this product. I was delighted at how easy this watch was to setup, and anxious to use it. I read instructions and followed setup instructions and watched it Load Satellites very quickly. I set it out to use the next day, but when I picked it up to use the next morning, I received a Low Battery message and it promptly died. I now have to get a battery replacement and am frustrated that I wasn't able to even use the watch until I replace the battery. After I get new batteries, I will know more about how the watch functions... Seems pretty poor quality that batteries don't work 1 day after you purchase the item!
