Digital camera reviews of Garmin Forerunner 405 Wireless GPS-Enabled Sport Watch with USB ANT Stick and Heart Rate Monitor (Black)

Digital camera Review: Better than I expected!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are like me..you have been researching this product obsessively. I am here to tell you to BUY the 405! I know there are many reviews about the 405 that aren't very good...but here's something that everybody has forgotten to mention: This unit has wireless technology, which means it can be updated. So, yes, there are some quirks Garmin is still working on, BUT they can and have been addressed with the available updates. I LOVE my 405! Like anything you purchase..sometimes things don't work correctly..return it and try again! I really like the Garmin Connect, a feature I didn't think I'd even use. The 405 is soo..much more comfortable to wear than the 305 and the good ole' 101! I am excited to see just how far Garmin will take the 405, Garmin Connect and it's upgrades! The Forerunner just keeps getting better!

Digital camera Review: Bobby G.
Summary: 5 Stars

Great watch for running and biking. The Bezel is a little sensitive. I love the lap results and the evelation gain/loss recording. Have had some trouble with the heart monitor recording accurately.

Digital camera Review: Brazilian Amateur Runner Review
Summary: 5 Stars

Hi everyone!
This is my first heart rate monitor and I really like it. It is totally user friendly. In the first few minutes I was able to set it and after the running check the results on the pc and also program some customize training.

The bezel is not a problem at all. I've set the indicators that should appear in the display during the running so when I am training I can check how my performance is by just touching the bezel through the indicators I like to look. So if anyone is worried about the bezel, you shouldn't.

The watch is also pretty accurate and it looks great too. If there is one little thing to complain about is that sometimes the GPS takes until 5 minutes to find the sign so you can start the work out, but that is ok too if you count on it.

If I had to buy a heart rate monitor again, forerunner 405 would be it.

Digital camera Review: Calorie counter doesn't work inside
Summary: 1 Stars

This product can't keep track of calories burned inside with GPS off. Nowhere does it say that in the description. If that is what you are looking for as I was, then you will need to get the 405CX, which of course costs more money.

Digital camera Review: Camoflaged excellence
Summary: 5 Stars

Appearing to be the common $49 jogging watch, this Garmin does more. The GPS is the extra that costs $2000 on a car and so much less on this watch. Fantastic for the distance jogger or the walker who gets disoriented :) Recommend for the guy who wants everything at his finger tips.
