I had no problems with this unit at all. It was a piece of cake to install and paired with my Forerunner 50 right away. I left my old device on the bike to compare the Garmin 010 with and they were both a complete match. Later I went on a ride with a friend who has a GPS unit and this Garmin speedometer, cadence and distance device were right with his GPS to within .01. If you want candence into for your rides, this simple to install device is the ticket. It takes about ten minutes to install and sync with your Garmin. (I think any ANT+ equiped wireless device will read data from this thing, but I haven't verified this.) Its inexpensive and works well. I've installed it on both my bikes.
I am very happy with this product and am glad to have the cadence data to help with my gear selections.

The speed and cadence sensor was much easier to install and get working than the wired sensors I have used with other bike computers. A pair of wire cutters is useful for clipping off the ends of the zip ties.Digital camera Review: Easy to install, easy to knock loose

Like all cadence sensors I've used before, it's easy to knock it slightly loose so that it doesn't register the cadence magnet. Kind of a nuisance, that. I've heard that if you substitute a rare-earth magnet on the crank these work better, but I haven't tried this.Digital camera Review: Easy to install, works fine

I ordered this product with the FR305 and the quick release kit : it just works and gives me the speed cadence in both Garmin training center and Sport tracks. Just wondering how long the battery lasts...
