I've been very impressed with all of Garmin's products. This map update is no exception. The load and update process is very straight forward with excellent guidance from the software. I have, however, found a few subdivisions in my immediate area which did not make this update, in spite of the streets being 2-3 years old. Between the update to my files on my laptop, and the files updated on my Garmin 7200, the update process took about 25 minutes...most of that time watching the files move across to my GPS unit. I recommend that anyone with a NT based Garmin GPS take advantage of this update. Note that the install process registers it to the first GPS to which the update is made. If you own multiple Garmin GPS units, you will need to purchase multiple copies of this update!Digital camera Review: Garmin 2008 North America NT Maps

Not much can be said of a GPS up-date. But just a warning. We have more than 1 Garmin GPS in our household and the up-date can only be used on 1. We had to purchase another one to up-date my husbands GPS.Digital camera Review: Garmin 2008 Update

The product worked just fine and downloading to our GPS was very easy. Our street was not on the original version that came on the product but it was on there on the update. I would recommend it if you have an older version of a GPS.Digital camera Review: Garmin 2008 update

This is a complete waste of your money. As far as I can tell there has been no updates to the map since last year. On a recent trip to the Gulf Shores Alabama area, we discovered that none of the highways have been updated even though road changes have been completed for over three years. Also, many of the addresses in the Gulf Shores Alabama area were at least three blocks off and some were on the wrong side of the road. Pensacola, FL was also very inaccurate and some major streets were not even listed. Even our own home in Arkansas is listed on the wrong side of the street. A total waste of $70.00. Garmin should be ashamed of puting such a lousy product on the market.
