I've noticed some improvements since my update, but I was going from 2006 vervion to this, so I should have. Running the update was easy and I didn't have Mapsource on my computer prior to this, so I have been able to play with that and find some new tricks. It was worth the money in my case because I bought my GPS new, but with an older map set loaded, but I'm not sure I will update again given that decent GPS units can be purchased for about $40 more now.Digital camera Review: Good updates for the Garmin

I noticed recently that a route that was not previously on the Garmin suddenly was given as an option after I installed the map updates. It was a much needed update to keep abreast of the changing roads/signs.Digital camera Review: works fine

Waited until the price went down on this update. Has several new streets finally in my neighborhood. Loaded easily on GPS. Works great.
