Digital camera Review: COMPLETE JUNK OF AN "UPDATE"

If there was a 0-star rating, this would qualify. I just don't understand how, after I personally submitted six corrections for the 2008 update, NOT ONE was included in the 2009 update. I guess they don't value people's input that actually live in the area they are updating, or they don't believe me that it's wrong.
I still cannot get to Fort Dorchester High School in Charleston SC which has been around since the 90s.
My house is still not in the system,
my girlfriend's house is still shown to be more than a block away,
it tells me the closest Staples store is 185 miles away and I know of three that are no more than 15 miles away from me,
says closest Office Max is 220 miles away and I know there is one about 15 miles away,
two Wal-Marts aren't in the system and another one directed me to a residential neighborhood,
I tried to get to a fitness facility and was lead to a grocery store half of a mile away.
How am I unlucky enough to have all of these omissions? Thanks for robbing me Garmin. I tried to contact Garmin regarding how this 2009 "update" doesn't have stuff that has been around at least since I moved to this city in November of 2007 and their response was "we name our products similar to how car companies name their models. You can get a 2009 model car in spring of 2008". Yeah...good rebutal jerks. And the lack of accuracy???

Installed Garmin nuMaps Onetime on my streetpilot c340,no problem. Did not lose any data at all.It took about one hour.After i finished the map upgrade i clicked on the Garmin web updater and downloaded a newer version of American Voice [ JILL]. Both have the same features...did not notice anything different...Also I do not like the fact that you have too buy a update for every Garmin you own. even though I have more than one Garmin . I will buy a different brand in the future...when I replace the ones I have.

There are two City Navigator 2009 updates. The difference is in the data formatting. One version is NT, the other not. Call Garmin first and check which version works with your GPS unit.
One version is titled "City Navigator North American NT Map Update 2009."
One version is titled "City Navigator North America 2009 MapSource Update."
Almost identical names but they are NOT interchangeable.
I bought the NT version, it arrived from Amazon quickly, but it wouldn't work with my handheld eTrex unit. I called Garmin. They were very helpful, understood immediately, sent me the correct version at no cost, the replacement arrived in three days, and it works great.
Save yourself some time and call ahead.

Installs effortlessly and with no problems. It does take awhile, however. For me, perhaps one hour and I have a super fast PC. Again, great product.
