I've just installed the 2009 update to my Garmin and this will be the last update I ever buy. We've spent the last 2 years storing Favorites to to help us navigate. But the update deleted all our favorites. So now we have to redo every one. Considering how ALL the other software I have keeps settings and other information when it installs an update, I consider this extremely lame programming. Amazon offered a large discount on this Garmin update. However, it was misrepresented as the latest 2009 update. In reality, according to Garmin, it was created in July 2008. Why then is Amazon selling a 2008 edition in January of 2009? Fortunately, I got a full refund. I tried to rate it zero stars, but the system would not accept it.Digital camera Review: Disappointed

I purchased the 2009 map update hoping that it would include things like the revisions of U.S. Highway 95 from Moscow to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. No such luck! The map seems no more up to date than the map that was installed on my Garmin C340 when I purchased it. I am disappointed, and feel that I wasted my money on this purchase.Digital camera Review: Disappointing update

We moved to McKinney, TX, a rapidly growing area North of Dallas, 7 months ago. Many of the new streets (about a year old) were not on the original Street Pilot 330 we'd bought in August, 2007. We expected those streets to be on the update, and they weren't. For our location the update was not worth the cost.
