All I can say is that Amazon had the best price for this GPS and if you are looking for a GPS that will do a great job this is it....I found operating the GPS was easy and the menu selections was more than I needed but nice to have in the event I decided to use these options in the future. MSN Direct is okay however you must be in an area that has the service available before using this feature. Other than that the GPS device is great.Digital camera Review: GREAT ITEM

I was very impressed with the GPS. It takes you exactly where you want to go. This is my first experience witha GPS and it is sooo neat. I got a 2009 map upgrade free with the purchase when I registered it, but had trouble downloading it. It is a file over 2 gig so you really need a fast broadband connection or you should select the option to pay for and get on a DVD. They provided a DVD with the upgrade on because of the problem. I love my Garmin. I have recently been required to travel for my employer. I feel driving to new places can be stressful, but not anymore. So much easier than reading directions while driving. I have also found the GPS to be great for Family excursions as my co-pilot has no sense of direction. Great functionality!Digital camera Review: Garmin 580

I bought this GPS as a gift. So I personaly have not operated the
GPS but instructions are easy to follow. The only downfall is not
with the product. I never received a packing list from shipper I
hope the product does not have any mal fuctions that need to taken
of under warranty.
