The case fits the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx like a glove. It has a nice feel to it and the buttons, of the GPS, can be operated with absolutely no problem. This carrying case worked well for me. It fits my eTrex snugly. While the display can be seen through the window, I wouldn't say it is easy to operate in the case which I leave clipped to my belt. I remove the GPS for use.Digital camera Review: Good carrier

The carrying case fits well, and the window is clear enough to allow easy viewing of the screen. The clip is very stout, allowing the unit to be carried on a belt or strap. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, would be the way the case seals with the Velcro. I think it would be better to have the top fold over the back, not under, as it is designed currently.Digital camera Review: Good protection

This is a great product. Ive seen others comment on poor screen visualization which I can possibly understand if they don't use the backlight. I always have my backlight turned on in the day as well and haven't had an issue. Good product for normal use, good price as well.
