Due to the small size of the screen on the GPS, the clear plastic on the case seems to give a LOT of glare making the screen hard to see. Also, due to the design, if the case shifts on the unit at all, it interferes with the joystick.Digital camera Review: Good, but could be improved

The carrying case material is good, with good terminations. I use my Garmin unit while rowing in the Paraná Delta near Tigre, Buenos Aires, and I find it provides good protection for the occasional splash of water. I have also taken it along in dusty hiking trails, and it serves its purpose very well.
The only thing that I wish were different is that the case requires that the receiver is [at least partially] removed from case to connect it to the USB cable (to download log files) or to the 12VDC power cable (when using it in the car).

For the price that you pay on this case, it's great. A little glare isn't going to get you lost in the mountains. The material feels good and durable. If you have a eTrex this is a great case to have.
