Digital camera Review: Amazing! for a starter

This is my first GPS. I must say I was hesitant of getting one due to bad reviews, but I guess I got lucky. My GPS is very accurate for Los Angeles area where I do most of my travels. the GPS do not speak street names but will show you the name on the screen and will clearly show the turning arrow and how far is your next turn in miles and even feet. It will calculate the approximate time of arrival to your destination (not considering traffic, which is not an option included with this particular model). It will also show your speed with incredible accuracy, miles traveled, average miles per trip, an even the maximum speed of major streets and highways. You may enter addresses or intersections or points of interest as near gas stations, restaurants, stores etc. It is very quick detecting the satellites and recalculating alternate routes. Again my experience is around Los Angeles areas. I see that many of the bad reviews are from either east, central areas or rural areas of US. And their reviews are valid because of their experience with this particular model. But now that tried the basic model and I have so far a successful experience with Garmin brand, I'll probably stick to the brand and will try more advanced models as my needs will require it. Hey! I also got it with a great price from Amazon. It comes in a small box but with everything you need: car charger and support for the front window besides the navigator.
Although it doesn't have the text to speech feature to say street addresses you'll never mind about that because it does say when, where and which distance you have to turn.
The display can be seen in any light conditions. It's touchscreen display works very well and you can type the directions in a "qwerty" like keyboard with no problems.
It boots quickly and have many features I'd not used yet. All the navigation and screens are standard in the nuvi platform, which is a plus. It gets on and off automatically when you turn the car key.
