I had previously purchased a GPS a few years ago, found it cumbersome and difficult to use. I returned it to the store. I recently purchased this GPS after being in a car with a client that was using it. I was so impressed I came home and purchased it. I wonder how I got around with out it. Now when I get in my car to go somewhere,I don't have to use a mapping program first and print out the written instuctions. If my plans change it is no worries as I can look up new addresses. If I am in an unfamiliar place I can find a store or business with excellent directions. I am totally happy with this product.Digital camera Review: Best bang for your buck

well if your like me and live in a small town great but if you happen to take the lady say to dinner at pier 39 HOLY CRUDD I'm lost picked up this beauty for 114.00 shipped typed in several locations and with ease got there.The map is a bit non updated ,Ca 99 by merced shows freeway off a little but other than that A+++ i recommend this to anyone who is like me LOST,And thinking of getting another for my LADYDigital camera Review: Best entry level GPS system on the market!!!!

Great product. Ive been using it for about a month now and have no major complaints. Love this little device and cant picture myself without it. PROS= Easy to read and use, price, accuracy. CONS= battery life leaves something to be desired, the touchscreen is a little off or maybe its because I have big fingers. Other than that, this little device is a life saver. Even though it's practically an ancient model, it works extremely well! Lots of free or open source maps for Garmin devices so you can easily take this anywhere in the world.
GPS signal lock is amazing. Works well even in dense cities - it got 3 bars within a minute while my Nokia phone's GPS unit never got a decent lock in 20 minutes (I gave up thereafter).
For this bargain price, you shouldn't really be without one!

I gave my wife a Garmin Nuvi 205 with the 3.5" screen in March '09 and it's been easy to use and found our way home all the time... So when I looked for a second unit for my vehicle, I looked at the Nuvi 205W. The local Best Buy ad had them on sale for $89.99!!! Unbelievable, I paid almost $140 for the cheaper 3.5" screen regular 205. The widescreen has a much wider field of view, and you can see street names across the top fully, the non-wide version sometimes cut longer names off. Plus the screen is clearer the QWERTY keyboard is much faster for me. Buy one now while they are cheap! Now, the widescreen one has found it's way into my wife's car permanently and I am stuck with the old one.
