Working good and fast. For this money this is enough for me.
Her is cheaper than in stores and Amazon is for sure is a trusted seller :)

Just received the Garmin Nuvi 205W. I've played with it at the local Best Buy and Amazon has the best price. However, Amazon doesn't disclose what's in the box on this item: there's a car charger and suction mount in the box. Thinking it only came with an AC adapter, I ordered a separate car charger and suction mount, and now I have to send it back. Frustrating but not a deal killer. I also erroneously assumed there would be an AC adapter charger, but that's extra, so now I have to wait for that to come, when I would have ordered it at the same time as the GPS unit. Overall, it is a great unit, but the lack of info both from Amazon and from Garmin cost it a star.
Update 2/7/09: I ordered a second unit for my wife and she loves it too.

I had to hook it to my computer to charge it at first. Luckily i had a wire from my digital camera that had the same mini-usb port because the GPS only comes with a car charger. GPS works perfectly! I was on vacation and threw it in my pocket when i walked around the city. I would turn it on to find restaurants, stores, etc. It lasted 2 days without a charge. its a very handy tool and worth the price.Digital camera Review: Dave's Review

This product is a descent baseline gps product. I also have a Nuvi 265. Compared to Nuvi 265, what I miss in this Nuvi 205 is that it does not have text-to-speech function. So street names will not be pronounced. For example, the 205 says "turn left at second exit" and the nuvi 265 will say "turn left at second exit on Walnut street".
Other than that, it is a good GPS, tracking satellites much faster than the 2-year old Nuv 265 I have. It also has a larger screen.
