Digital camera Review: Great basic GPS

This is just perfect for my needs. I primarily use it in and around town versus on trips. I tend to get turned around easily in the downtown area and then end up lost and calling friends for assistance. But this little gem has really helped. No more being lost and frustrated. And I'm much more confident exploring around the area because I know I can't get lost again. The reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is the user interface. It's not as intuitive as it could be. Also, the stuff most users use the most is on the 2nd and 3rd screens versus the main page.Digital camera Review: Great product, definitely suggest

This GPS works just fine. Delivers what is expected from it. Takes you to the destination whichever route you want to take, acquires satellites faster, sleek & light weighted, has different language options, one can comprehend visual & audio directions well.
I have only one issue with it- when we have two streets to choose from sometimes while driving, the GPS at times does not speak up- remains quiet when it should ideally direct you. I believe it hangs or is slow whatever it is. Hence you may tend to get confused during such times & I would say it is not totally reliable.
Otherwise you have everything you would require in it- various destinations to look up, gas stations, restaurants, calculator etc etc. The product shipped well before time & neat packaging.
You may also want to know this product does not come with a cable to connect to the computer when you want to upgrade maps. Also It does not come with a pouch/bag for the GPS.
I would suggest going for a higher model.

This GPS system is good for the price. I had my time comparing GPS devices below the USD$100.00 and I found this one on a 'hot deal' here.
Pros:
-Small
-Good price
-Bilingual (English/Spanish)
-Loud speaker
-Pedestrian mode
Cons:
-Lack of headphones jack
-Lack of text-to-speech functionality
-Favorites get lost after soft-reset
-Soft reset often required after couple of days without use.
-It has a lag to obtain satellites so DON'T try to use it unless waiting couple of minutes before it gets signal.

I bought this particular model because a friend of mine has it....It works great...Although I have a good sense of direction, sometimes I like to get off the "beaten' path". Now I can get right back on track without a problem....Voice is clear..easy to see graphics....
