The new feature of having the street named rather than just "Turn Left" is very nice but I found real problems when driving in the Upstate of South Carolina. A lot of verified addresses can not be entered. You may try but the nuvi will change a number or a street or a city and will not accept a valid address. It also needs to reset as to preferences. On my drive to Greenville, I was repeatedly directed to get off the interstate and on to a rural road. Turns out the preferences included avoiding delays. Garmin Tech Support referred me to Google on the rejected addresses. In mountainous terrain, it repeatedly lost satellite contact. A GPS is something that I should've purchased a long time ago,however,after much reviewing of whats on the market and the discounted low price at Amazon,I thought that this was a must have item.I recently used it on a 1300 round trip to a wedding and back,probably would not have gotten there with that much ease using the trip tic.totally 100% satisfied.Digital camera Review: A must have if you do a lot of traveling

The Garmin 260W just has a ton to offer. We had the Garmin 340C and this new unit is like night and day. Plus you can't beat the price of the 260W. The Garmins are now more affordable than they were a few years ago. The screen has better clearity and you can see the next street name well before your next turn. There is an arrow that is displayed in the upper left corner so you know which way your next turn will be. This is a great feature if you are a highway. You can click and drag the map. The only down side is that this unit does not come with a case and you really should by a case that protects the unit and keeps all of parts.Digital camera Review: A new, inexpensive, much improved Garmin

I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 260W, my first attempt at using GPS. I am amazed at the accuracy of the unit and the inclusion of many small streets enroute to a destination.
I also purchased a dash mount for the unit and once again pleased with the stability of the mount. It stays in place.
Finally, both items were priced below other sellers.
