This is the worst GPS unit I have bought in years. My previous Nuvii 660 was great ! It got stolen and I bought the 265wt to save money. Well I got what i paid for.
The VOLUME change screen locks up when driving so you can't change the volume or Mute it once on the road. The maps are wrong ner my home and it keeps directing me to a wrong roundabout route to get to my home. Very annoying, it doesn't even learn !
The bluetooth doesn't disconnect my phone properly and my phone thinks its still connected to the nuvii even thought the nuvii has been switched off and I am far away from the GPS.
The satellite acquisition is not as fast as claimed.
Over nuvi660 was way better even though it was a little slower.

Great item. Received it quickly and in great condition. The 265WT is small and easy to use. It was amazing to use on our most recent road trip. Now that I've traveled over 3,000 miles with a GPS, I can't imaging making that kind of trip again without one. The 265WT has a ton of great features for an affordable price. This item works better than I thought it would. Not only does the GPS mapping system let me know where I am and where I'm going, I don't even need MapQuest anymore!! It tells me several ways to go, filtering shortest/ quickest, and giving traffic/detour updates. But there's an even better feature. If I want to find a store or restaurant, I search "Points of Interest', find nearby places, gas, lodging (a must for interstate travelers), and the PHONE NUMBER, with a "DIAL" button appears. You can call ahead to the place via hands-free Bluetooth hookup to your cell phone!! No more 411 calling for phone numbers, and the voice dial feature is also enabled for those who live in "Hands Free" states. An external SD slot lets you view pictures/ movies also.. all around a must have for travelers and men who won't ask directions!!
