Digital camera reviews of Garmin nüvi 360 3.5-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Text-To-SpeechDigital camera Review: 98.5% perfect....amazing device Summary: 5 Stars
This device is simply great. Incredible value for a GPS + Bluetooth device - paying $2000 for GPS and $250 for BT installed in car is lunacy in my book because this device is better and you can walk/bike with it as well. Paired easily with wife's LG and my SE. (the SE also uploaded the address book, LG did not). only 98.5% perfect because no device is, but this is the closest I have ever seen anything come to perfection... I can ramble on and on but the bottom line is - get this.
Also - consider where you want to install this - we have it in the left bottom corner of windshield (where the registration sticker is - fits just right - the wide screen would have forced a higher mount...
Digital camera Review: A Great Bargain for an Excellent Product Summary: 5 Stars
The features that this GPS come pre-loaded with are amazing. The MP3 player, audio book player, maps, picture viewer, WAAS enabled, battery powered so you can walk around with it, the list is endless. I bought it as a gift for my husband (who is a super geek) and he has NOTHING bad to say about it. The bluetooth phone feature is really great for driving, and the screen looks crystal clear. Jill is easy to hear and the maps have been accurate thus far. He even uses it to go to the places he already knows how to get to, just to see if there is a faster route, and let me tell you, it found one! We got to the movies in 12 minutes, when it normally takes 25-30 minutes. If you are going to buy a GPS, buy this one. If it's not in your budget, save up a little more. It is worth the wait.

Take a bit time to arrive, but it is worth the wait. Very nice product!
Digital camera Review: A Really Fine Product Summary: 5 Stars
Although the Garmin Nuvi 360 doesn't always go where I think it should, it gets me there. And if I stray off the path it wants to send me on, it recalculates quickly, almost as if it knows where I want to go.
I bought the friction mount Garmin Portable Friction Mount for Garmin GPS Units (010-10306-00) which I like better than having it stuck on the windshield or rather permanently on the dashboard.
Oh yes, you can pair it with your bluetooth-enabled phone and make and receive calls. Very cool.
Most of the reviews for the model 350 have already said what I have to say, so there's not much to add. You do get a free Audible book (two "small" ones or one big one) which you can listen to if while you travel. You are required to sign up for a trial Audible membership, but after you've downloaded your book, you can cancel on-line. (I bought Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything which I had already read, but want to re-visit). A Short History of Nearly Everything
In sum, the Nuvi 360 is one of the coolest "toys" I've ever owned. Just don't let it distract you too much. You won't be able to take your eyes off it, even though it speaks very well on its own. (P.S. My wife and I agree that "Jack" is an easier voice to understand than "Jill".
Digital camera Review: A Small Wonder for the Traveller Summary: 5 Stars
I considered all the top-rated GPS units out there, from the Tom Tom to the Lowrance and so on. Garwin kept popping up as a recommended choice. I chose the 360 because I love our Bluetooth enabled cell phone and thought it would be worth the extra cost. And was it ever.
The unit send messages to the cell and uses it to dial a restaurant or other POI in seconds. But that's just one of several neat features. The main benefit is its size. It's riduculously small and portable. Yet the screen is large enough to use as a touch pad and clear and sharp. The voice instructions are easy to hear.
After using it for a while, the only drawback might be the same problem with ALL GPS devices. They may take you on a circuitous route rather than direct. In many cases, it's to avoid left turns. But you can easily overide the program and make your own decisions. It still will get you where you're going. Also, it doesn't have every POI (restaurant, gas station, etc.) but then again, how could it? Things like buildings and stores change rapidly so let's not quibble. It was designed to get you from A to B and it does that well. It's simple to attach to the windshield and disengage when finished. Mine picked up satellite signals immediately and found our house in seconds. So much for the negative reviews.
In summary, I will NEVER travel without it. Next to my cell phone and media player, it gets a place of honor in my carry-on.
