Digital camera reviews of Garmin nüvi 360 3.5-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Text-To-SpeechDigital camera Review: A time saver Summary: 5 Stars
This unit is awesome, it's packed with features and with the Traffic module we purchased separately it's a real time saver. The Bluetooth is way better than the one I was using and I don't have to have anything in my ear while I drive. If you are looking for a good mid priced GPS I would highly recommend this one.
Digital camera Review: A versatile GPS Summary: 5 Stars
This GPS is quite useful. There are some surprising uses, like finding food when visiting friends or a bank while traveling. If you are rough on things be careful with the connector that holds the car charger to the back (it will break if you don't release it before trying to remove the GPS). Note the price on these has dropped rapidly, and if you need traffic the once with MSN service might be a better value (when the price comes down).
Digital camera Review: A very good one bu with flaws Summary: 4 Stars
I used Nuvi360 for morethan 6 months on more than 10 trips now. Basically I love its GUI design and some cool features now are almost available even int he entry model. Text to Speech is a must have feature since I also have a TomTom 510 which doesn't have it. This is especially handy in the metro area that multiple intersections and entry/exit in less than 1/8 mile. With the name of thestreet, you are confident which one should take. As in comparison, I like TomTom's faster recalculation tie and route selection. Nuvi sometimes take more time than you can react. Few times in LA I miss the turn and after recalculation, I already pass the next suggested turn. At times, the suggestion route is un-smart and not too making sense. One thing for sure, it like local street better than expressway in certain area. I found out we could save a lot of time if taking highway which need a little detour but end up stuck in local street and countless traffic lights and stop sign. At one time, I brought both (after I purchase the Nuvi360 and before my Tomtom dead after dropped on the floor) on a trip near DC. I compare two units and found TomTom is quicker in recalculation and use Highway more frequent than Nuvi 360.
Although Nuvi also allow you to play MP3 but the sound quality is poor (mono only). And the bluetooth is a helpful feature especially for the area handheld is forbitted when driving. Again the voice qulaity and recepion is below bar compare to bluetooth headphone.
The best part of Nuvi series is the size and flat backside design. It allow you to slide it into the pocket of your jacket to make it very portable. This is not only safer than leave it in the car but handy when travel to a new place to find local POI after parked your car.
Overall I will recommend it to anyone if you need compact size and decent unit at reasonable price and want full features.
Digital camera Review: AMAZING! Summary: 5 Stars
The Garmin nuvi 360 is amazing! I live in Atlanta and it is incredibly accurate. It's never gotten me lost and has already saved me on numerous occasions.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely Excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought this and I find it to be absolutely EXCELLENT ! Very intuitive to use and also extremely easy to 'update' using the Garmin Website.
I almost bought the Nuvi 350 thinking that I would not have a use for the Bluetooth technology, but I am very happy that I got the 360. Matching my phone (a Sprint Treo 650) to the Nuvi was extremely easy and the ability to make phone calls using the device is extremely helpful.
Also, when I was driving, I received a phone call and I was surprised that the Nuvi alerted me to an 'incoming' call. When I pressed the option to 'answer' on the Nuvi, it behaved like a 'speakerphone'. I was able to talk and hear the caller through the Nuvi. I never even reached into my pocket to get the cell phone !
