Summary: 5 Stars
If you want the "best of the best" in GPSes (and can afford the price point), this is it! This is my 3rd Garmin model in the last 4 years, and I also own a Magellan GPS. While each GPS has it's pluses and minuses, the Garmin nuvi 3790T is by far my favorite.
I had considered a GPS model with Voice command in the past, but shyed away thinking it might not work well...was I sadly mistaken with this model! Voice command was not a feature I was looking for, but I am glad this unit has it (and I use it).
The main factors in my enjoying this new nuvi series are 1) the thin and bright screen (previous models' screens were always "washed out" by glare and hard to read in bright sunshine, even with 'illegally' tinted windows and windshield!), 2) the terrain map display (is nice and 3D buildings are improved), and 3) keyboard calibration and 'autofill' (lots less mistyped characters, faster input response, and a little like Magellan's QuickSpell, but without the audio feedback).

With 3-D Building and Terrain view, you?ll see representations of prominent buildings in many cities and map contours at low zoom levels, giving you a realistic perspective of the terrain.
