Excellent product; very simple to use; accurate as advertised. Just wish it had these two improvements:
- An ability to mount to dashboards without having to use the adhesive mount. It would make it easier to see, use, and hear if it was on the dash and closer to the operator
- An ability to save destinations for future use.

The nuvi 650 follows the popular 600 series GPS with its excellent widescreen touch face screen. The latest maps included on the software make for easy navigation all over the country. Nuvi has a great GPS that quickly finds satelites to help navigate your route. The voice prompt of the street names is a real plus especially navigating along the east coast. I have played around with a couple of different models and for the price this one cannot be touched. I spend 3-4 days a week on the road and the nuvi goes everywhere with me and I never get lost.
Bluetooth is not an option on this on this model so if that is a absosulte need, the nuvi 660 for @ $200 more would be a better fit.

I am very satisfied with my Garmin Nuvi 650. The first time I tried it, when renting a car in the States, it gave me the liberty to travel on my own in unfamiliar places. I was thrilled! I even traveled from Atlanta to Tennessee, my first solo ever in the States! The model that I used still had a couple of glitches, like instructing you to turn where you could not but I hope that this new model run smoothly. The experience is like having a Map at your side that will stay with you the hole trip and recalculate your route when you make a wrong turn. Fantastic!
