I was expecting more after reading the reviews here. The piece deflects the flash back too much, so if your eye isn't deep into the viewfinder, you get a nice bright flash in your eyeball. The item does not do a great job at spreading the light throughout the entire frame. It does soften the light, but the light's still concentrated to a certain area. The Diffuser is very bad for the cameraman, because the flash actually bounce back, it can nearly blind your flash in secs. Just buy small diffuser bag that work better and won't hurt you eye. Also the puffer pop up is poor qualiry made, is too easy to make it fold apart and I worry the plastic might hurt the hot shoe since is poorly made and sometime hard to take it out. No diffuser pop up can replace external flash, biggest advntage of external flash is bounce up for indoor while you can't do with pop up, it won't look as nature compare to bounce flash.Digital camera Review: Love it try it

This works awesome. I'm taking a photography class and someone else in class had this item. I purchased it and I'm very happy with it. It works great.
