I ordered this in a rush, so I may have missed something in the description, but I was under the impression that it was a sleeve to keep the Kindle in. It's a sticker that goes on the back, leaving the screen to get scratched up in your bag or however you travel around with it. But, it may have been my own oversight if this is obvious to everyone somehow. It's more of a decorative thing.
