Digital camera Review: Cooler than I ever thought it would be.

For months ahead of time I looked at a variety of graphing tablets, most of my searches lead me to Wacom. For one of a decent size I was looking at dropping several hundred dollars. Which was pretty risky seeing how I had never even used a graphing tablet before I ordered this. I've been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil which is close to thirty years now, and I thought perhaps I would miss the tactile feeling of paper or become discouraged by a steep learning curve.
After using this product for three months I have no complaints. In fact I don't even know how a 400 dollar tablet could be better. The tablet's pressure sensitivity is amazing. The harder you press the darker or thicker the line, it's so sensitive that I found little to no learning curve. I thought that I wouldn't be so happy with the drawing area on the tablet, but that hasn't been an issue at all.
Even installation is a breeze. However I have heard that there was some issues with the drivers provided with the tablet. But the fix to that is just going to the manufacturers website and downloading the current ones.

My first tablet, to be used as a mouse replacement for ergo reasons. After 1 day I couldn't get used to it, (not easy to click unless pen is vertical which is not the way we normally hold pens; large size makes for too much arm motion; I never could figure out how to easily click the thumb-button) so I gave up. So it has not been useful for me, but I may not be a good data point.Digital camera Review: Couldn't live without!

I so wanted this product to work and purchased this at Amazon's $39.00 special price. However, it was Dead on Arrival (DOA). I'm very computer savvy but couldn't get this thing to do a single thing. Even tried changing the battery in the pen . . . nothing. I have no doubt that it may be working for others. I think I'll spend the money and get what you pay for in a higher end product.Digital camera Review: DOA

this is an email i sent to genius support:
Hi,
i just received my tablet today, and i cant seem to be able to get it to work.
i installed the drivers, as the booklet said, but upon connecting the tablet i receive an error saying:
"Power surge on hub port" (i attached a screen shot)
and on a second computer, nothing happens.
and this is the reply:
Hello,
I regret to inform you that there may have been a short circuit on the internal circuit board when you plugged the product into the 5V USB port. Please return product to place of purchase for replacement.
dont bother..
if it doesnt work on day 1, it'll probably break again.
