With the current technology that is! I like this much better than my previous receiver. Most of the dead spots with my last one, ended up coming up with this one. Read the driver CD Jacket about configuring the port etc and thought here we go for a long setup. I loaded the driver took about 2 minutes plugged the devise into USB shut the cover on the lap top walk to the living room set the device on he table by the west window (first floor of two story)opened the computer hit the start device button on MS Streets and before my finger left the button it had located my house with 6 satellites. Wow I cannot wait to route calls for tomorrow I have been using MS Streets without a receiver this one seem great.Digital camera Review: Excellent GPS Unit

Been using this for a couple of months now in my car. The unit as never had any trouble acquiring a signal and does so in a few seconds. Nothing bad to say about it in terms of performance (though I haven't had the heart to test its WaterProof feature yet!).
The only issue I seem to have is that Microsoft Streets and Trips 2009 sometime has trouble communicating with the device. This usually happens if I put my laptop into sleep mode without shutting off the GPS. A quick log off and log back on seems to fix the issue. For reference I'm using a Lenovo x61 Tablet with Windows Vista.

After reading all the reviews here, I had a pretty good feeling about this GPS receiver. All of this was confirmed after connecting it to my computer. Very fast satellite fix with extremely accurate reading. Highly recommended. An excellent GPS unit at a very low price. I use the unit in my cruiser while on patrol and have been very pleased with it.
