I was unsure at first about purchasing this product, it was so much cheeper than I was able to find it anywhere else. The product box was cut, obviously from when it was taken taken out of the shipping container, but other than it it was perfect. The sound is good but the best feature is the ability to have music/tv sound in any room or outside. I have not used it enough to test battery life but I am sure it is fine. Inputs give you the ability to also hook up tv sound or what ever you want, no more needing a Ipod device thru out the house or outside. There are a lot of reviews for the Evolve on the internet. I read and watched most of these reviews before I purchased mine. Many of the experts feel that the Evolve just doesn't provide the sound range they are looking for in a system. My suggestion to them? Spend a lot more and get something that does. The Evolve is GREAT for the guy (or gal) who just wants to hear music in multiple locations. I use mine in the yard or the kitchen and it works and sounds just great. I really, really loved this system. I am no audiophile, but it sounded great to me. It just stopped working shortly after one year. At first, it continued to work but only with the speakers on the base charger. Then it stopped working altogether. If it had lasted, I would have given it five stars. Absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made. I needed something that I could put out around the pool in the summer. They worked wonderfully. I can move them from place to place and distance is no problem. NO cumbersome wires. In the winter, I connected the system to my home entertainment system and can either use in the same room or create an entire HOUSE full of sound by moving the speakers into the bedrooms, etc. Couldn't be better for me.
