I was looking for an ipod charger, but chose this one because it was multi-purpose. It not only charges the ipods quickly, but does a fast job on phones, even a phone with a dedicated charger only Verizon seemed to have. This charger is great. I like the fact that the barrel is short size and is not really wide at the part where you plug in the usb cord. I like the fact that you can disconnect the usb wire and use it on the computer. Great price for this product. Cheaper than buying in the apple store.
